This video is a 5 minute recap of the Bible study that we did this Friday. We went over Romans chapter 13 at the end of the chapter. It talks about putting off the works of darkness that we have been in all of our lives. He says it’s high time that we get out of this Slumber that we get out of this sleep, that the night is far spent. He says that our Salvation is nearer than when we first believed. Here I believe he is referring to the salvation that will come when we are rescued from this world and the power of sin in this world entirely. So the idea that it is high time to get out of this sleep it’s kind of the idea that we don’t have a whole lot of time left here on Earth.
Whether it’s five minutes or 50 years, in the scope of eternity it’s nothing. So it’s time to wake up, we’ve wasted enough time. With not much time left we put on the armor of light, putting on Jesus Christ and face the rest of our lives seeking after nothing but the will of God. I believe in digging deep into the scriptures, making sure that I receive His word with understanding. There’s only so much that you and I have control over.
